Already the 1h drive there is very enjoyable, passing a vast wide area of white desert.

You will also pass up and down sandy hills in between sandstone mountains.

The route up is at an intermediate level. It is not too difficult while still interesting going over rocks. You will scramble over rocks, and sometimes even use your hands. On the top you will be rewarded with a 360 view in all directions, including Saudi Arabia. You can see vast areas of the desert until very far.

After descending, you will walk another roughly ten min through the desert to a beautiful hidden spot , shaded by the mountains, and the tea kettle is waiting for you on the fire. Now you can relax and enjoy the view while we prepare some delicious lunch for you.

This one day hiking tour can be joined with the 1 day 1 night jeep tour, which most people choose to do. The first day you will be on the jeep covering all the major attractions inside the protected area, then you will sleep at either the camp or out in the desert under the stars, and on the second day you will be driven to Umm Addami and embark on you mountain hike stopping at some other interesting spots on the way back.
